Beautiful atmosphere: the food is absolutely amazing!! The goat cheese appetizer was creamy and full of flavor. The sea bass melted in my mouth; I chose mashed potatoes opposed to the rice that comes with the meal. The sauce had notes of Dijon mustard and white wine, absolutely delicious! Also if you like ginger beer they have Fever Tree brand in a bottle. Our server was very professional and friendly; we took his advice in choosing our meals.

The ambiance of this place is a vibe. There was live music at a certain point that we could hear from our seat. And sitting inside yet enjoying the outdoors was also a win for Christmas Day. Them being OPEN on Christmas Day for families was also a treat. All the meals were tasty. We had ahi tuna, creole shrimp and crab pasta, wagyu ribeye, macadamia nut crusted red snapper. Everyone ate everything. It's a cute touch that they offer post cards to send at no charge to family abroad. We sent several!

Parking: Bank of America has a parking garage. They will validate, it took off $3, and we paid $7 at the garage. Service is good. Our waiter was really on top of things and was excellent at communicating the boh delays. On the weeknight that we went it was pretty busy, and food came out slowly. The longest wait was actually our desserts which took over half an hour, however, they did comp one of the desserts. I know this is a touristy spot, but I wasnt sure how good the food would be. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered for apps and dinner was really good, hot, and fresh. Apps: The lobster eggrolls, goat cheese dip, coconut shrimp, and the crab bisque are a must. The steamed clams were good, but we got a lot of empty clams. I would probably skip this. Crab bisque was great. Dinner: The ribs fell off the bone. It was incredibly tender. The sea bass was perfect. The steak was cooked to temp, however, the broccoli it came with was still a little raw. If you are dining with seniors with dental issues, I would ask for another side. Desserts: The key lime pie was perfect and very refreshing end to dinner. The pineapple creme brulee wasnt set all the way, but it was beautiful and still delicious. The pina colada cake...was dry, maybe we just got a bad slice. I was looking forward to this the most based off all the raving reviews. The chocolate pie was to die for. 10/10 would still come back again, order some different sides, and maybe try happy hour.

I still think about the goat cheese dip. Definitely one of the best things I ate in Waikiki. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in the area and you won't be disappointed if you eat here. The cocktail and food menu offer something for everyone. I came with a group three times and everyone loved their food. We're hoping to recreate the asparagus appetizer at home. The restaurant is open air and can be hot and sticky just like you're outside.

It's Restaurant Week until the 17th! For a very reasonable price, you'll choose from their 1st Course: Bungalow salad or Chicken tortilla soup, 2nd Course: Whipped ricotta or Steamed little neck clams, 3rd Course: Honey chili glazed pork tenderloin or Togarashi crusted Hawaiian yellowfin ahi or Spaghetti squash bowl. Even better: refillable Soda or Coffee is included! Despite the extremely filling meal, I made room for dessert. Their dessert offerings are ginormous, so I opted for the kid's sundae, heh heh! Service was very good - when my friend said her soup was too salty, the manager gave her the option to switch to the Crab bisque! (Props to Jordan, our server. At the end of the night, he disclosed it was his third day on the job. Wow! ) Extra points: The women's restroom is bright, clean, spacious (fully enclosed stalls where you don't bump into fixtures), and well appointed. Tip: Shop Tommy Bahama Stores and Restaurants and get surprised with a $50 gift card ($100 minimum purchase) to shop even more! And yes, I used it for my birthday dinner tonight! Next tip: Join their loyalty club and get $10 off your next visit! Entrance/exit tip: enter through the storefront and catch the elevator (on the right) to the 2nd floor to check in. There is also a rooftop dining area. A curvy staircase is also available. The store remains open until all diners leave... and since we had the last dinner seating, we were the last to leave.) Parking tip: they validate $7 flat rate up to 4 hours at the Bank of Hawai'i Waikiki Center Parking garage. Located just past the restaurant on the left, down the parking garage driveway. ($3/half hour without validation; so that was a $3 savings for us!)

A solid 4 stars! And no, you do not require to wear an aloha shirt to dine ;) An important detail for those of us who are not tourists or live in Waikiki- Parking is at Bank of Hawaii (validated & under $10 for 4 hours). 3 levels- 1st floor is the clothing store, 2nd floor is the restaurant seating and a bar area. 3rd floor is more seating and another bar area, but what I love most is the lounge seating while dipping your feet in the sand. I wish there was more sq footage of sand!! Pau Hana is every day 2-5p in the bar area. It includes mainly drinks but also a few snack style items. Menu is mainly seafood dishes with a few meat options. Nothing stands out but also everything I've tried over the years also does not disappoint. Service can be a little slow sometimes but just sit back and enjoy your drink while hopefully kicking your feet back in the sand if you were lucky to snag that spot.

It'd been years since I've dined at Tommy Bahamas. Very happy we did. Reminded me how much I enjoy the space here. Dined tonite on the open aired 3rd floor. Casually beautiful with perfect tradewinds on the covered patio. Restaurant week was the perfect venue to bring me back..! Validated parking at the Bank of Hawaii building right across street. At this writing: Four hours for flat rate of $8. Or dine under 2 hours and validate at Longs Drugs for few dollars less with purchase.

Never knew that Tommy Bahama had a restaurant! Their menu is pretty extensive, as they have various apps, soups, salads, entrees, sides, and desserts. I had heard about about their mac-nut fish, so I decided to come here for , and ordered: +a World Famous Coconut Shrimp - served with papaya-mango chutney and Island slaw +a Macadamia-Nut-Crusted Fresh Catch - which happened to be snapper; this came with Hawaiian red sea salt, almond rice, grilled asparagus, and a wasabi soy beurre blanc (which I did request extra sauce on the side) The food was fresh and tasty, and easily shareable between 2 people due to its generous portions. The restaurant itself is beautiful, as its airy and chic. Service was friendly! Reservations are highly recommended for some great seating. +Macadamia-Nut-Crusted Fresh Catch +friendly service +reservations highly recommended

Out of all the restaurants we have been to on this trip, this restaurant blew us away the most. Since it was a chain restaurant, we didn't expect the food to be that good. The food is fresh and well-seasoned. For starters, we had their Hamachi crudo from their seasonal menu. It was outstanding! I had the Thai shrimp and scallops. The coconut curry reduction? Wow, that was delicious. I love how they prepared the rice here. For their mahi mahi tacos, it was just wonderful. They were probably the best mahi mahi tacos we have tasted on this trip. Cocktails were okay. The classic mojito was too tart. Great table service. They really know how to take care of their customers and make them feel welcome. Before we headed to our table, the host asked us if we were celebrating anything and we said we just got engaged. And they surprised us with a coconut cake to celebrate our engagement, we appreciated that. Definitely made our evening.
